This Cookies Policy explains how Connection uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.

Current website setup

The website uses a lightweight consent interface rather than a blocking modal. Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics / RUM, Meta Pixel, and Google Maps are blocked by default and load only after the relevant consent is given. No request is sent to Google Analytics before analytics consent. A separate optional checkbox in the contact form may authorize analytics and campaign measurement of that submission without changing the saved site-wide preference.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is implemented through the manual JavaScript snippet mode rather than Cloudflare’s automatic injection mode. This means the Cloudflare beacon is loaded by the website only after analytics consent has been given.

Users can accept all optional technologies, reject them, or manage analytics, marketing, and Google Maps separately through the cookie-preferences control. Closing the banner without accepting records a rejection and leaves all optional technologies disabled.

Cloudflare Web Analytics / RUM

According to Cloudflare’s documentation, this beacon does not use cookies and does not access browser storage such as local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB. Cloudflare states that the beacon uses browser performance APIs and sends the resulting measurements to Cloudflare for reporting.

The Google tag is not downloaded and no Google Analytics measurement is sent before analytics consent. If you allow analytics, the tag loads with analytics_storage granted. Because this website does not install Google Ads, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization remain denied. Withdrawing analytics consent sends a denied update, expires known first-party Google Analytics cookies, and stops further optional measurement.

First-party contact-form attribution data

When you submit the contact form, the website may include with that request limited first-party attribution data closely connected to the request itself, such as the form page URL, referrer, referring domain, and campaign parameters present in the form page URL at the time of submission. This helps us understand where requests come from without automatically activating optional third-party cookies or trackers.

Google Maps on the contact page

To reduce unsolicited third-party tracking, the contact page does not load Google Maps by default for users who have not given consent for Google Maps. In that case, Google Maps stays blocked until you activate it on the contact page or through cookie preferences. If you consent, the embedded map may load without an additional local prompt. Google or other third-party providers may place cookies or process personal data under their own privacy policies.

Analytics and marketing technologies
