Win the Rush Before It Starts

Most slowdowns during peak service are predictable. A short pre-rush checklist keeps execution smooth.

Checklist

  • Confirm ingredient levels for top-selling recipes
  • Test at least one pour per high-volume drink
  • Verify glassware and garnish stations are fully stocked
  • Check that team roles for rush windows are clear
  • Keep a fallback manual workflow ready for edge cases

During Service

Track only three signals:

  • Ticket queue growth
  • Re-make rate
  • Ingredient depletion pace

If one spikes, adjust immediately instead of waiting for the queue to collapse.

After Service

Capture what failed and what held up. Use that data to improve tomorrow’s opening routine.
